Job Description

As a Graphic Designer/Writer at Hospice & Community Care, you will be responsible for developing, illustrating, and writing content for print and digital media. You will ensure that all communication materials maintain organizational brand consistency.

Key Functions:

• Design organizational and event marketing communication tools
• Work on newsletters, advertising, emails, and social media content
• Collaborate with outside print vendors
• Provide design support for the organization’s website
• Assist in writing content for the organization such as newsletter articles, emails, and social media posts

Requirements

• Graphic design experience with demonstrated skill (3-5 years preferred)
• Understanding and commitment to organizational brand standards
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with vendors and other stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and knowledge of Mac and PC formats
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting needs and demands
• Ability to work collaboratively and accept feedback

Additional Information

• Part-time role (8 am - 12 noon preferred, Monday - Friday)
• Portfolio and writing samples will be required
• Not a fully remote position; mostly on-site work
