Job Description:

Are you a creative and passionate UI Designer looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our dynamic team at krisenchat for 10-15 hours/week and help us design an intuitive and engaging chat interface that supports mental health and crisis intervention.

Your Tasks:

• Support the Lead Product Designer in creating the user interface for our chat application.
• Execute design tasks based on provided guidelines and design concepts.
• Develop high-fidelity designs that enhance user experience and engagement.
• Ensure designs are user-centered and accessible, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to implement design solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for mental health and crisis intervention is a plus.

Since 1 March 2022, krisenchat Ukrainian has also been providing confidential crisis counseling in Ukrainian and Russian for people affected by war at any age. In addition to crisis counseling, krisenchat reaches many millions of young people every year through psychoeducation via social media platforms.
