Job Description

This position entails working as a Graphic Designer to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in collaboration with the Public Affairs Office (PAO) and Information Resilience Office (IRO). Responsibilities include designing digital and printed materials, creating content for various media platforms, collaborating with subject matter experts, ensuring content accuracy, creating news releases, white papers, and social media products, and maintaining a positive brand image.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic design, or related field, or five years of related experience. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and virtual project management tools is required. Previous experience in cybersecurity or information security is beneficial. Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. A Secret Level US Security Clearance is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a remote position requiring the candidate to have a reliable internet connection and standard office equipment. It is predominantly a sedentary role.

Expected Hours of Work

Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., with variations based on project timelines.

Salary, Benefits, and Other Information

Salary and benefits will be discussed during interviews and will be based on experience. Only full-time employees are eligible for benefits. Travel may be required occasionally to the DTRA Headquarters in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, with some possible international travel.
