Job Description

This role as a Social Media Manager at Disney+ involves leading and implementing effective social media campaigns for a variety of shows and movies on the platform. You will work closely with internal teams and global partners to coordinate content roll-outs, manage social media accounts, and create impactful campaigns to drive engagement and viewership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning social media campaigns for Disney+ titles
• Coordinating content roll-outs and asset distribution
• Managing social media accounts, content calendar, and reporting on performance
• Mentoring and supervising team members
• Collaborating with creative teams and agencies for campaign assets
• Supporting local markets with show launches and talent events

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience in a social marketing role, ideally in entertainment or broadcast industries
• Strong written, verbal, and social copywriting skills
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content calendar planning
• Ability to brief agencies and collaborate with creative teams
• Experience in people management and data analysis
• Knowledge of social media management tools and cross-platform campaign ideas
• Collaborative work approach with multiple departments

Other Information

The role is based in the Hammersmith office for 4 days a week on a fixed-term contract until November 2025.
