Job Description

Expatiate Communications is seeking a part-time Social Media Specialist to manage the company’s social media presence in Pasadena, CA. The role involves creating and scheduling content, engaging with the online community, proposing social media campaigns, collaborating with the Executive team, analyzing metrics, creating company profiles, and using AI to generate content relevant to the company’s vision.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of social media platforms
• Strong written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (a plus)
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills (a plus)
• Video and podcast production skills (a plus)
• Knowledge of web and app referral traffic (a plus)
• Experience with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite (a plus)

Work Schedule

Part-time position, approximately 16-24 hours per week. Flexible hours.
