Job Description
A Social Media Specialist is a key role in shaping the online presence and brand voice for our company and clients. At Savvy Marketers, we are seeking a talented, creative Social Media Specialist who can strategize, create, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms, driving growth and engagement. Our Social Media Specialist will be responsible for crafting and executing social media campaigns, developing content, and interacting with our audience to build a strong community and enhance brand loyalty.
- Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, videos, written).
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Design and manage social media ad campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and budget.
- Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed to optimize performance and report insights to management.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, and customer service) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Use analytics tools to assess and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Monitor trends in social media, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
- Support overall marketing goals and objectives by integrating social media strategies with broader marketing plans.
Requirements
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in audience research and targeting strategies.
- Ability to generate creative and engaging content.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A portfolio of past social media campaigns and content is a MUST. Please include it in your resume.
Additional Information
Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
