Job Description

Communications Strategy Group (CSG®), a strategic communications and marketing agency, is seeking freelance graphic designers to join its roster of talent as independent contractors. The graphic designers will support a wide range of client work and industries with the creative team, known as the Studio. CSG values ongoing relationships with freelancers and aims to identify designers who are a good fit for their clients and team for ongoing collaboration.

Requirements

• 2+ years of graphic design experience

• A bachelor’s degree in a design field or commensurate experience

• Demonstrated mastery of design applications (Adobe Applications & Microsoft Suite) and comfort across all media types

• Ability to quickly adapt to new clients and industries

• A diverse portfolio showcasing a range of work, including brand and campaign concepts, and the ability to articulate the thinking behind the work

• Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of successful work alongside copywriters, strategists, and technologists

• Agency experience preferred

• Project management system experience (i.e., Asana, Workfront, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

Graphic designers will be responsible for bringing the work to life across various disciplines and channels, including paid digital media, social media, websites, emails, presentations, and eBooks. Attention to detail and the ability to consistently apply brand guidelines to diverse clients and industries will be essential in supporting the creative team.

Additional Information

This is a freelance position. Compensation will range from $50.00 to $75.00 per hour, and the schedule is Monday to Friday. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed or considered.
