Job Description

Launched in 2008, Jouer is an essentials-focused beauty brand with high-end formulas that embody the French obsession with skincare while giving everyone the freedom to express their own sense of beauty. The Packaging and Digital Graphic Designer is a talented, passionate, energetic, experienced individual eager to work directly with Jouer’s founder/Creative Director as well as with product development, sales, and marketing teams. This key position focuses on creating dynamic packaging and marketing materials that are on brand and will engage clients across all retail and promotional platforms. The role encompasses graphic designing customer-facing digital assets and package design to production, ultimately aiding in the development of new and creative materials for all Jouer product launches.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience
• B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design
• Thrive in a fast-paced design environment
• Experience within a creative environment across various design practices with a concentration in package design (collateral, pop, displays, print advertising, and digital)
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Ability to work as a team contributor, collaborating closely with Marketing, Design, and Product Development
• Extremely organized with excessive attention to detail
• Outstanding communicator and solution-oriented problem solver
• Resourceful and knowledgeable about Beauty/Fashion retail market trends and new packaging technology
• Excellent time management skills
• Deep experience with mock-ups and digital renderings
• Extensive knowledge of design software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, & Premiere Pro)
• Experience editing videos is preferred
