Job Description

Starface is seeking a Social Media Manager to help us continue to grow our social and community engagement across various platforms, including TikTok, TikTok Shop, YouTube, Instagram, and Letterboxd. In this role, you will report to our Director of Social & Content, utilizing your social media expertise and team management experience to drive strategy, innovation, and content creation. Your success will be measured by the volume and quality of content produced that aligns with our brand identity while fostering community growth.

As part of our team, you will develop a deep understanding of the Starface brand, tone, and aesthetic, manage the content calendar, and innovate new content streams. You will also coach and develop a small team while collaborating cross-functionally to support branding initiatives.

Requirements

You are a fit for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience managing social media across multiple platforms, including TikTok and Instagram, in a creative startup or agency environment.
• 1+ years of experience managing at least one direct report and a desire to develop, mentor, and coach.
• A blend of creativity and organization, valuing processes for collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Strong awareness of emerging social trends and the ability to navigate taboo topics effectively.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and autonomy, with a willingness to align with the Starface brand voice and collaborative culture.
• A playful attitude and openness to creating unconventional content for our unique brand.

Benefits

The compensation range for this role is $80,000-$110,000 base depending on experience, with bonus eligibility and company stock options. Additional benefits include:
