Job Description

Presentation Technology is a group of specialists providing services to internal banking clients within the Institutional Clients Group. The department operates 24/7 and is responsible for producing live deal, pitch book, and custom design materials for high-profile investment banking transactions. The roles are located in Getzville, NY, require on-site presence 5 days a week, and have a duration of 12 months. Work hours are 1st Shift: 7am to 3:30 pm with a ½ hour unpaid lunch. There are 2 roles available: one is Monday to Friday and the other from Tuesday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing various marketing materials such as pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, and infographics using MS Office and Adobe applications.
  • Assisting in the production of creative PPT pitch books and providing conceptual and visual solutions.
  • Tracing and producing logos, maps, and illustrations.
  • Ensuring materials are correctly branded per Client’s standards and advising clients on brand usage.
  • Liaising directly with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions, and design requirements.
  • Completing related admin tasks for accurate work billing and job tracking purposes.
  • Assisting with Intake coordination when needed.
  • Responsible for quality control of own work and assisting colleagues with QC tasks.
  • Buddies new starters post-training.
  • Contributing to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs.

Requirements

Knowledge/Experience

  • 3-5 years or more of admin/operational support in a corporate, service-oriented environment, ideally within a financial institution - essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry-standard graphic design applications - essential.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional).
  • MapInfo, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, and Blender - an advantage.
  • Knowledge of external print processes - desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in Graphic Design with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment.
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio/samples of recent work.

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and manage pressure.
