Job Description

OneCart has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional responsible for managing all design projects from conception to final output. The role involves producing visual content that complements the company’s written and digital material.

The Graphic Designer will own and manage the Company Brand Corporate Identity (CI) across all platforms, increasing user-friendliness of OneCart’s brand assets while maintaining brand consistency and voice. The position requires collaboration with internal departments to create promotional graphics, design various materials for print and digital campaigns, and ensure all projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.

Additional responsibilities include generating fresh concepts, staying up-to-date with industry trends, tracking work time on tasks, and collaborating effectively with internal and external partners, including the Product and Tech teams. The designer will also assist other Marketing team members to achieve common goals while embodying the company’s values.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in graphic design. A deep understanding of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web design is essential. Familiarity with HTML and CSS, as well as proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software, is preferred.

A compelling portfolio showcasing work across a range of creative projects is required, along with experience in social media and email marketing platforms. Animation and video experience are also essential.

Competencies & Skills

The candidate should be a creative “out of the box” thinker with an excellent eye for visual detail. Proficiency in MS Office, strong time management, presentation, and multitasking skills are necessary. The candidate should possess a strong creative portfolio, a meticulous approach to design, and proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Furthermore, strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written), problem-solving skills, and a willingness to collaborate creatively are essential. The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while meeting deadlines and a reliable work ethic are also crucial.
