Job Description

As a Junior Designer, you will support the Learning & Professional Development Team by creating visually appealing and effective designs for events, programs, and other projects. This entry-level, part-time role is primarily remote, but candidates must be able to travel to Janney’s Philadelphia Headquarters up to twice per month.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: Experience in a corporate/internal graphic design role is preferred, although entry-level candidates with a strong design portfolio will be considered.

Skills: - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word) is required. - Experience designing both print and digital media with a keen eye for aesthetics and detailed work. - Ability to take direction and work independently on deliverables, managing projects from conception to completion with minimal oversight. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - A positive attitude with excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Familiarity with Cvent, PoliteMail, Monday, and Microsoft Teams is preferred but not required.
