Job Description
The Graphic Designer contributes to the accomplishment of NATIVE HEALTH’s communications through practices, objectives, and operations to provide a professional and dynamic image that promotes NATIVE HEALTH’s mission and goals, ensuring both internal and external visibility. The primary role involves collaborating with the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator in designing forms, promotional materials, and digital content. Responsibilities include writing, editing, designing, and formatting promotional materials in line with NATIVE HEALTH’s standards, as well as assisting in the creation of larger projects/publications as required. The designer is also tasked with maintaining consistency in the NATIVE HEALTH brand and performing other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree in graphic design, web design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Graphic Design software including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge and experience in Graphic Design principles.
- Ability to learn and use new digital software.
- Dependable, with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete projects by deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Visual problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
Standard Employment Requirements:
- Valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license (must be obtained within 30 days of hire for out-of-state applicants) with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years, and no more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years).
- Must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy.
- Pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the first 90 days of employment.
- Pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing.
- Provide an updated immunization record at the time of employment.
- Have a current Tuberculosis (TB) skin report (within 12 months) and provide annual updates.
- Obtain a First Aid/CPR Card within 90 days of employment and maintain validity during employment.
