Job Description

KeyStaff is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team with the Sarasota County Communication Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for design. This position involves the design and production of products for Communications’ enterprise-wide clients, including designs for print such as brochures, flyers, signage, and posters, as well as social media graphics, web graphics, and graphics for TV. Note that this is a temporary position for a short term (3 months), and the perfect candidate would be in agreement with these terms.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

- Create engaging visual content for various platforms including digital and print

- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites

- Collaborate with the marketing team to design compelling marketing materials

- Ensure brand consistency across all designs

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools

Experience:

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects

- Strong understanding of color management and digital art principles

- Experience with motion graphics and InVision is a plus

- Knowledge of CSS, WordPress, and print advertising is desirable

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

- Minimum 2 years associate’s degree in graphic design

- Minimum 2 years of industry experience.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour (Non-negotiable)
