Job Description

The Purpose Brand agency is an award-winning, full-service public relations, brand and digital content marketing firm based in Chicago. The agency is focused on making brands relevant and strengthening communities by putting purpose into practice. Their services encompass media and public relations, brand strategy, content creation, web design and development, content strategy, special events, video marketing, and training. They are currently seeking a freelance Social Media Manager to join their team and assist in managing client accounts across various platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. This position is remote, but preference will be given to candidates based in Chicago.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or digital marketing

• Located in the Chicago area

• 2+ years of social media marketing experience

• 2 years agency account management preferred

• Excellent writing and grammar skills

• Experience in the following B2B verticals preferred: Healthcare, Real-estate, CRE/AEC, Financial Services, Government/Transportation

• Experience within a multicultural practice and a passion for multicultural initiatives is a plus

• Detail-oriented with the ability to keep an eye on the larger picture

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and client teams at all levels

• Must be available for immediate work
