Job Description

Duration: 12+ months W2 contact. Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA - Team is on-site 3 days and 2 days remote every week. The Data team is a business team, directly aligned to add value to data-related projects supporting the business needs. This team is expanding and focuses on project-based work that has been approved through a new approval process. The organization is seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join their dedicated AI team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to transform complex requirements into seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the AI team, product managers, and developers to understand project requirements, user needs, and business goals.
• User Research: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and understand user behaviors and pain points.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• UI Design: Design high-fidelity user interfaces using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD, ensuring a consistent and engaging visual style.
• User Testing: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all POC projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and maintain the integrity of the user experience.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably with a focus on designing for AI applications or the energy sector.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.

Skills

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Experience in the energy sector or with AI applications. Familiarity with front-end development technologies (Angular, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
