We are looking for a creative, confident, and innovative Social Media Manager to take ownership of the Wedgwood & Waterford brand’s social media channels on a 9-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover). This role will develop and drive global social media strategy, conceptualizing and capturing content across our marketing campaigns and brand communications to create engaging visual storytelling while conveying a commercial message.
We aim to connect with a younger audience and increase desirability for the Wedgwood & Waterford brands by bringing bold and exciting ideas to the table, while also being mindful of our existing consumers.
Requirements
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and drive global social media strategy in line with brand strategy.
- Create and oversee relevant social media content for global and local channels.
- Formulate and distribute social media plans and toolkits catering to local market needs.
- Drive influencer strategy and collaborate with local markets on partnerships.
- Manage global influencer partnerships and engage in community management.
- Align with the paid social team on boosting plans.
- Collaborate with Brand, Merchandising, and Creative teams for content creation to support campaigns and product launches.
KPIs and Targets:
- Monitor and report on all social media activity against campaign KPIs.
- Evaluate content performance and engagement rates.
- Assess reach into new target audiences and site traffic.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing.
- Hands-on experience in a social media role.
- Experience in content creation for social media.
- Proficiency in applications and software for content creation, including Adobe Suite.
- Understanding of paid social.
- Experience in luxury fashion or homewares brands is an advantage.
- High standard of written English is preferred.
