Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that require innovative design solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and will be proficient in various design software. This position allows for flexibility in working hours and the ability to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Create visually appealing designs for digital platforms, including websites and social media.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into compelling design concepts.
- Utilise Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CorelDraw, and Sketch to produce high-quality graphics.
- Develop digital assets such as logos, banners, and marketing materials.
- Incorporate photography into designs where necessary to enhance visual storytelling.
- Maintain brand consistency across all projects while adhering to client specifications.
- Present design ideas and concepts to clients for feedback and approval.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and software advancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills in digital design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, CorelDraw, and Sketch.
- Familiarity with WordPress and CSS is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity.
Additional Information
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
Additional pay: Performance bonus
