Job Description

Norton is a full-service creative agency specializing in the restaurant and hospitality industry, working with a variety of local and national brands. We are looking to add a Senior Graphic Designer to our team. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience as a professional designer for consumer-facing creative, preferably in the restaurant sector. The candidate should be creative, a quick learner, and have a good understanding of design principles with exceptional attention to detail.

Our services range from restaurant concept development to menu design and social media strategy to brand positioning. The diverse team at Norton enables us to unlock a brand’s potential, and we strongly believe in forming long-term partnerships with our team and clients to produce the best work.

Responsibilities

• Design print and digital marketing materials for national and local food brands
• Develop creative focused on client goals and objectives
• Work collaboratively and embrace constructive feedback
• Be self-sufficient and able to independently develop processes
• Think both strategically and creatively
• Stay current with the global design community
• Maintain honesty and direct communication in all interactions
• Create impeccable presentations and mockups
• Demonstrate a commitment to innovation
• Display a desire to learn and grow

Requirements

• A design degree from an accredited university in graphic design
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Agency experience preferred
• Restaurant/food brand experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to follow established creative styles or create from scratch
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Open to receiving creative direction and design critique
