Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both digital and print design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling. This role involves collaborating with various departments to create compelling graphics that align with our brand’s vision and marketing objectives.

The job is at the Century 11 Event Center, 225 West Douglas in downtown Wichita. The candidate will be taking photos of classic cars and providing the owners with photo numbers on January 17th, 2025. The role involves editing and printing photos at the convention center on January 18th and 19th at the applicant’s booth.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality graphics for print advertising, digital platforms, and social media campaigns.
• Develop layout designs that effectively communicate messages while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Manage content within content management systems to ensure timely updates and consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing materials that resonate with target audiences.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create innovative designs, including typography, art direction, and typesetting.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for new projects and campaigns.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, sign manufacturing, and digital design.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and art direction principles.
• Experience with content management systems and digital design tools.
• Knowledge of sign manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and concepts.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work in print advertising and digital design is required for consideration.
