Fabtech Systems is looking for a talented and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing and design team on a contract basis. While this is primarily a remote position, we’re seeking someone local who can collaborate in person at our office about 1-2 times per month, depending on workload. In this role, you’ll assist our in-house graphic designer with overflow projects, creating digital and print materials such as flyers, brochures, newsletters, advertisements, and other marketing-related resources. This is a part-time, flexible position with a workload that can vary month to month. Most projects allow for thoughtful planning and design, as quick turnarounds are rarely required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of print design principles and best practices.
• Experience in social media content creation and management.
• Familiarity with web design principles and tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in macOS; Microsoft 365 tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
• A portfolio showcasing your print and digital design work, including examples that are applicable to this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a graphic designer in a remote or freelance capacity.
• Knowledge of other Adobe design apps like Photoshop and Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Create and assist in the design of high-quality print materials, including brochures, flyers, and other promotional items.
• Develop engaging social media content and graphics that align with our brand and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to produce visually compelling designs across various platforms.
• Utilize Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create vector graphics, layouts, and print-ready files.
• Support web design efforts, including creating website graphics and layouts, as needed.
• Ensure all designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and are delivered on time.
• Work efficiently in a remote environment while managing multiple design projects simultaneously.
