About Us: MKI MIYUKI ZOKU is an independently owned and globally renowned contemporary menswear brand founded in the UK by creative director Vik Tailor. We focus on designing premium, accessible menswear combining high-quality fabrics with fit, functionality, and modern design.

We are seeking a Menswear Graphic Designer to join our design team on a freelance or short-term basis. This role involves creating visually compelling graphic assets for various touchpoints, including seasonal collections and brand communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to create graphics based on briefs and suggest visual pathways for collections.
• Design graphics for seasonal collections, including logos, typography, prints, and other design elements.
• Collaborate with the product development team to design garment prints, labels, and tags reflecting MKI’s commitment to quality.
• Ensure consistency and cohesion in the brand’s visual language across all design deliverables.
• Design supportive graphic assets for digital, such as logo mock-ups and web banners.

Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in apparel graphic design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design and understanding of contemporary menswear aesthetics.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience in Procreate or Sketch is a plus.
• Proven ability to create bold, modern designs with strong typography, composition, and attention to detail.
• A keen understanding of the contemporary menswear market and the role of graphic design in brand identity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with fashion illustration, 3D design, or motion graphics.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and web design principles.
• Photo editing and retouching skills.
• A genuine passion for menswear and a thorough understanding of the current fashion landscape.

Key Considerations

Looking for a candidate who can start on a freelance or short-term basis within the next 4 weeks. Must be available to access our office in West Yorkshire for regular design meetings. This role is not suitable for interns or graduates, and candidates must have a proven apparel graphic background, ideally within menswear.
