Job Description

Serotonin is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead, develop, and execute effective social media management and engagement strategies on behalf of clients. The successful candidate will work closely with a full team of marketers, including PR, Content, and Branding. A deep understanding of crypto and blockchain is essential, with familiarity in platforms such as Crypto Twitter, Farcaster, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant social channels.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Social and Content and is responsible for overseeing the daily social media strategy and output for assigned clients. The manager should be able to write in various styles to meet the branding requirements of clients and maintain an understanding of the current trends within the web3 ecosystem.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a social media role creating copy and content, ideally within an agency setting.
• Experience with overseeing and launching social media campaigns (experience within the crypto ecosystem is a bonus).
• Excellent written, verbal, and strategic communication skills.
• Strong client relations and collaboration skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• Desire to work in web3 with resilience in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Strong understanding of the web3/crypto space and affiliation with an on-chain community.

Responsibilities

• Manage the social media strategy, operations, and execution for 3-5 Serotonin clients.
• Collaborate with senior social leaders and the Senior Director of Content and Social to develop social strategies and ideate new opportunities.
• Create and maintain account management systems for scheduling, posting, and replying.
• Work with PR, Content, and Growth teams to execute owned marketing campaigns.
• Analyze weaknesses using data and social media marketing tools to grow Serotonin and client brands.
• Strategize and execute social media activities such as Twitter Spaces, AMAs, giveaways, and growth campaigns.
• Keep abreast of technology trends and announcements within the web3 ecosystem.
• Stay informed on the social strategies of other technology and product teams.
