Job Description
The Rank Group includes leading high street entertainment brands Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos, with venues across the UK, and a thriving digital business with a growing portfolio of bingo, casino, sports, and slots brands. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at a pivotal point in the strategy, allowing for ownership of the brand move forwards.
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the social media strategy for the business, particularly for the Mecca Bingo brand. This role requires a highly creative and analytical individual capable of capitalizing on reactive opportunities while calmly reviewing data to evolve the strategy. You’ll be immersed in the world of a bingo player and will explore new ways to engage them, ensuring the social pages offer conversational and shareable value.
You will lead the social media team, maintain relationships across the business, plan content, manage initiatives, and monitor results for continuous improvement.
Requirements
• Experience in social media within consumer-facing, multi-channel business environments, preferably with regulated industry experience.
• Proven track record in social media marketing and content distribution across fast-moving multichannel environments or high transactional B2C businesses.
• Strong planning and execution skills for creating engaging consumer content interactions via social media.
• Effective communication skills at a middle management level.
• Excellent influencing skills to foster positive working relationships.
• Experience in leading and developing small teams.
