Job Description
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the content creation, publishing, community management, and strategy related to Travel + Leisure Co’s Panorama Travel Solutions Travel Clubs, including Armed Forces Vacation Club and Heroes Vacation Club. This hybrid role requires the individual to work in the office Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. The candidate will support the Social Media Manager and the Marketing team, executing social media strategies across various platforms while collaborating with the Enterprise Social Media team and business partners.
Requirements
• 4-year College degree in business, technology, graphic design, marketing, or communications.
• Technology aptitude and ability to quickly learn new tools and interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of social media marketing and technology platforms.
• 2+ years of experience creating content and using various social media platforms, analytics tools, video, and photo editing.
• Experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social applications.
• Knowledge of Google products and services, including analytics, research, and SEO.
• Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple project deadlines efficiently.
• Ability to analyze and communicate data patterns and trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and editing tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
Additional Information
This position will include responsibilities such as managing social media content calendars, engaging with community followers, monitoring brand mentions, and creating monthly performance reports. The candidate will also collaborate with marketing teams to brainstorm new content ideas and ensure successful implementation of promotional initiatives.
