Job Description

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our team on a 12 month FTC basis. We are looking for someone with a passion and deep interest in all things creative and design. This key role will see you create eye-catching web, email, and print campaign designs to reflect the company’s goals, objectives, and identity. You will work with internal marketing teams to support key product brands with regular and ad-hoc promotions.

This position requires the ability to work across multiple projects for a range of brands. As part of the Marketing team, you will be expected to produce project deliverables to an exceptionally high standard with guidance from senior designers and marketing representatives. A forward-thinking, positive outlook and strategic creative solutions are essential, along with exceptional multi-tasking skills and high attention to detail.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Applying excellent digital/graphic design skills across advertising campaigns, websites, web applications, and documentation.
• Taking ownership of work and managing various projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Involvement in all aspects of projects, from initial concepts to the successful completion of finished products.
• Liaising with suppliers and printers to ensure a high-quality finished product for printed materials, large scale graphics, and merchandise.
• Working alongside the marketing team to promote special offers and seasonal products.
• Producing banners for use across different company, brand, and third-party websites.
• Producing digital storyboards, visuals, and layouts to communicate ideas.
• Generating a consistent stream of fresh ideas.
• Utilizing high levels of IT skills in relevant design packages and hardware, including Adobe Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Adobe XD), MS Office (including PowerPoint), Macs, and OSX.
• Sourcing and retouching high quality and relevant imagery.

Key Skills:

• Good communication and organization skills to handle a full and varied workload.
• Minimum of 3 years’ professional/commercial experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Software, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with developing cross-browser and cross-platform solutions.
• Keen interest in emerging technologies and the Web.
• Thorough understanding of typography, colour theory, layout principles, web standards, and advertising standards.
• Acute observation and an expert eye for detail.
• Resilience to rejection and constructive criticism of creative work.
• Hands-on and ‘can-do’ attitude; willing to get involved.
• Photography skills are desirable.
• Animation/video editing capabilities are desirable.
