Job Description

We seek a Social Media Strategist to develop and implement engaging content and strategies across social platforms. This role requires analyzing performance metrics to optimize results and staying current with social media trends. The position is a temporary 7-month assignment and is available in a hybrid format, requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite each week in either Seattle, WA, Austin, TX, or West Hollywood, CA.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience, particularly with global tech companies (personal social media experience is not accepted).
• Holistic understanding of social platforms to recommend strategic guidance for driving results on KPIs outlined by the Expedia Group social strategy, including paid boosting.
• Experience with tools such as Slack, SharePoint, Sprinkers, Canva, and other analytics and social media tools.
• Ability to analyze social media performance metrics to make informed decisions.
• Experience working globally.
• In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and best practices, including paid boosting advertising strategies, campaign, and community management.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects while collaborating with teams across various regions.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools, translating data insights into actionable strategies.
• Strategic thinker capable of developing and executing complex plans.
• Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• 5 years of social media marketing experience (Required).
• Ability to commute and relocate to Austin, TX 78703 before starting work (Required).
