Position: Freelance Graphic Designer

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract-based

About the Organisation: The Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) works with cities worldwide to promote sustainable, equitable, and inclusive urban transport. ITDP aims to create healthy and liveable communities with streets safe for walking and cycling, high-quality public transport, and people-centred mobility policies.

About the Position: We are looking for a candidate who can create high-quality visual products for publications, posters, and infographics that convey complex ideas in an easily understandable format. The position allows the candidate to hone graphic design and communication skills while gaining exposure to sustainable transport.

Responsibilities

1. Produce high-quality publication layouts.

2. Produce high-quality visual content.

3. Create highly engaging vector illustrations and collateral that aligns with project messaging.

4. Create vector graphics that can be re-used for animated videos, if needed.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Extensive experience with graphics on Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• A keen eye for detail and a well-developed artistic and creative aesthetic.
• Prior experience in working with animation is preferred.
• Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and provide regular updates.
