Job Description
Works as part of the Public Relations team to coordinate digital communications via the campus information network and serves as the administrator and content manager for the college website.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Design and construct web pages/sites, including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI)
- Maintain and provide ongoing design of the website
- Manage content for the campus information network, including interior flat panels and exterior LED displays
- Maintain a file or database of graphic images, clip art, audio and video files, typefaces, and animations for departmental use

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Education
- Associate’s degree in web-based multi-media, graphic arts, digital communications, or a related field.
- 4 years directly-related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
- 3 years web graphic design experience required.
- Experience in an institution of higher education with preference given for community college or health care experience.
- Experience supporting hardware and software in PC and Macintosh environments.
- A sample of a professional portfolio required at the time of interview.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and experience using at least four (4) of the following: Adobe (Macromedia) Director, Adobe (Macromedia) Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Web Page GUI Software.
- Knowledge of Javascripting, Flash, HTML, XML.
- Must be current with online copyright laws and issues.

Working Conditions
- General Office environment.
