Job Description
Our Client is seeking a talented Social Media Manager for part-time work, requiring no more than 4 hours a week. The client will provide direct instructions on how to allocate these hours. As a Social Media Manager, you will manage and execute social media strategies for our music industry client, necessitating a deep understanding of social media platforms, strong creative skills, and effective audience engagement. Priority will be given to candidates with recent experience in the music/creative industry. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the world.
This Social Media Manager will be instrumental in driving the online presence and brand awareness of our client. Social media and tech-savvy responsible students are welcome to apply. Please include your required hourly pay and availability with your CV.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement for our music industry client.
- Create and curate high-quality content for platforms, including images, videos, and written copy.
- Manage accounts, including scheduling and publishing content, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create and implement campaigns and promotions as needed.
- Analyze metrics and provide regular reports on performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry events, news, and releases to develop timely and relevant content.
Requirements
- Qualification in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to produce engaging and creative content in English.
- Fluency in another language would be beneficial.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Proven experience as a Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the music industry.
- In-depth knowledge of platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Soundcloud, Spotify, and LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and create simplified reports.
- Proficiency in using design software and video editing tools.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
