Each production aims to help individuals recognize their potential, make the tough choices required for change, and achieve the impossible.

Unseen is a documentary-style true crime series from Goalcast, focusing on the strength of survivors and their powerful journeys of survival and healing. The series seeks to highlight resilience, moving beyond the typical crime narratives.

We are currently hiring for a part-time freelance YouTube Thumbnail Designer to amplify our impact. North American candidates will be prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Create YouTube thumbnails for the Unseen series.
• Collaborate with the production team to conceptualize and execute these thumbnails.
• Understand the brand’s tone and innovate while remaining true to its voice.
• Attend a weekly Zoom meeting to brainstorm thumbnail concepts with the creative team.
• Deliver the PSD file and 2 finished YouTube thumbnails per video in a timely manner, incorporating feedback.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio featuring graphic design, 2D illustrations, and YouTube thumbnails.
• Thorough understanding of YouTube best practices and trends.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
• Able to thrive on feedback and work collaboratively with a passionate team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about brainstorming, experimenting, and learning through teamwork.
• Assets: Experience with thumbnail design for other YouTube or Snapchat creators, and a genuine interest in the content being produced.
