Job Description

Regis and Supercuts hair salons, part of the largest hair salon group in the UK operated by UK Hairdressers with over 90 national salons, are seeking a dynamic Graphic Designer to join their creative marketing team in Willenhall. This varied role involves working on multiple design assets ranging from Ecommerce banners and animated mobile assets to supporting store print concepts and overall company branding.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling and effective designs for digital and traditional channels.

• Research, develop, and design multichannel assets for digital/print promotions, seasonal campaigns, and conceptual work for brands.

• Own and develop brand guidelines, ensuring artwork aligns across all assets.

• Manage digital and print designs, including window assets, posters, and campaign materials.

• Collaborate with print suppliers, ensuring orders meet deadlines and budgets.

• Adhere to critical path deadlines.

• Attend brand photoshoots, coordinating shoot days and capturing the right content.

• Work with the digital team to develop and upload campaign adverts on digital channels.

• Collaborate with team members to provide innovative designs, ensuring clear communication of design vision.

• Explore concepts that challenge the norm for diverse audiences and present ideas clearly.

• Review campaign effectiveness and implement improvements for future projects.

• Keep up to date with design trends and improve internal design processes for efficiency.

• Oversee day-to-day spending on print materials and ensure documentation of expenditures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Graphic Designer with a creative portfolio demonstrating creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.

• Highly proficient in Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign).

• Excellent typography and layout skills.

• Experience with videography/editing and print suppliers.

• Art working and print production skills.

• Copywriting skills for creating engaging headlines or messaging.

• Experience with Adobe Premier Pro and/or After Effects.

• Familiarity with retail or beauty brands is desirable but not essential.

• Experience using scheduling tools like Monday.com is desirable but not essential.

Additional Information

• Job Type: Contract

• This is a part-time position of up to 20 hours.

• Work Location: Hybrid remote in Willenhall WV13 3AP.
