We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our team and support in the development of a variety of creative solutions. The ideal candidate should have a passion for graphic design backed by a portfolio showcasing a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of design, and the ability to create high-quality design intended for a variety of solutions. The ideal candidate should also have a keen interest in working with entrepreneurs from small to medium-sized businesses.

This entry-level role involves the delivery of entire solutions through graphic design such as branding, brochures, banners, e-mailers, and various branded collateral. You will also support in the development of creative solutions such as websites, animations, e-learning content, social media posts, and contribute to the development of the Ascendant Studio brand and its engagement through various social media channels.

The role offers exposure to various industries from banking to manufacturing and other service-based businesses, and you will work closely with clients and entrepreneurs in identifying and developing creative solutions for their business challenges.

Requirements

• 1 or more years’ experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Attention to detail and a creative mindset.

• Some experience in online marketing, including social media management and content creation.

• Marketing experience is beneficial.

Software application requirements:

• Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

Proficient in:

• InDesign

• Photoshop

• Illustrator

• Adobe Acrobat Pro

• Adobe XD or Figma (not required but beneficial)

• Microsoft PowerPoint

• Microsoft Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
