Job Description

A well-established online healthcare company is searching for a Lead UX/UI Designer on a contract basis. With a rapidly growing roadmap and multiple exciting streams of work across both human and pet health, they need a confident, proactive designer who can hit the ground running.

The role involves working across 45+ live projects with another 35+ in the roadmap, ensuring a variety of tasks. The designer will be responsible for designing end-to-end customer journeys across web and app, which includes areas like prescriptions, health services, vaccinations, pet prescriptions, and OTC products. A strong UX thinking and polished UI execution is essential, with a focus on balancing usability with brand identity. Additionally, navigating a regulated industry will require an eye for compliance and its impact on design and CTAs. The designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to collaborate effectively.

Requirements

Applicants should have a strong background in UX/UI, particularly with experience in e-commerce and healthcare. Experience working agency-side is considered beneficial, along with familiarity in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment. The ideal candidate should possess a positive personality and attitude, as they will be part of a collaborative, fast-paced work environment, and be comfortable handling high volumes of work while maintaining quality. Expertise in Adobe Suite and Figma is also required.

Additional Information

Location: Leeds - 1 day per week in the office

Pay: £250-300 per day - Outside IR35
