Job Description

We are seeking a Lead UX/UI Designer on a contract basis for a well-established online healthcare company. This role will involve working across multiple exciting streams of work in both human and pet health, requiring a confident and proactive designer who can quickly integrate into the team. The position is based in Leeds, with an expectation of 1 day per week in the office and offers a pay rate of £250-300 per day, outside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Work on 45+ live projects with an additional 35+ in the roadmap, ensuring variety in tasks.
• Design end-to-end customer journeys for web and app across various services, including prescriptions, health services, vaccinations, pet prescriptions, and OTC products.
• Apply strong UX thinking coupled with polished UI execution for every brief, maintaining a balance between usability and brand integrity.
• Navigate the complexities of a regulated industry, with a keen eye for compliance and its influence on design and CTAs.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of designs.

Requirements

• A strong background in UX/UI design, particularly in the e-commerce and healthcare sectors.
• Experience working in an agency setting is beneficial.
• Familiarity with regulated or compliance-heavy environments is a significant plus.
• A personable attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Capacity to manage a high volume of work while maintaining quality standards.
• Expertise in using Adobe Suite and Figma.
