Job Description

Besu is a creative agency based in Toronto that focuses on brand and communications, bringing strategy and creativity together. We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Graphic Designer (Remote - Contract Part-Time) to join our team and create compelling visual content that effectively communicates our clients’ brand messages. The ideal candidate should possess a growth mindset, strong organizational and collaborative skills, and demonstrate accountability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences, ensuring all designs are aligned with branding and messaging.
• Create high-quality, visually appealing design materials for various marketing channels, including print & digital, web, and social media.
• Assist with the creation of pitch decks, presentations, and client proposals.
• Assist in the creation of post-production assets for video and photography for marketing purposes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all are completed within deadlines.
• Oversee project delivery in line with brand campaigns and launch calendars.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Graphic Design, Creative Industries, or a related field of study.
• 1-3+ years of experience in Graphic Design within a Marketing or Advertising context, with a portfolio showcasing skills.
• Must be located within commutable distance to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
• Expertise in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Figma, and Canva.
• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Keynote.
• Demonstrated excellence in digital design, production, and print production.
• Experience with photography, re-touching, video production, editing, animation, motion graphics, and 3D is a bonus.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
