Job Description

This role manages the marketing activities and programs for the organization. It involves developing and implementing marketing plans that serve business objectives, staying updated with changes in the marketing environment, and coordinating market research projects. The position may oversee advertising, events, and public relationships, and is responsible for managing subordinate staff in their day-to-day performance. As a true first-level manager, the role ensures that project and department milestones and goals are met and adheres to approved budgets, with full authority for personnel actions. Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of department processes.
• Social media core capabilities, including in-depth platform knowledge, editorial calendar management, publishing, community engagement, and performance metrics tracking.
• Excellent program management skills.
• Ability to self-start, build relationships, work cross-functionally, navigate barriers, communicate, and influence within a highly matrixed, large organization.
• Experience leading strategic end-to-end social media campaigns and working on integrated marketing programs.
• Strong analytical skills with experience making data-backed recommendations from internal and external sources.
• Solid understanding of the social search landscape and consumer behavior across social platforms, including TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, and Reddit.
• Preferred familiarity or experience working in the small business landscape.
