Job Overview:

The Social Media Engagement Agent is responsible for representing the brand’s voice by monitoring day-to-day interactions across social media platforms. This includes responding to customer comments and messages, engaging with posts from influencers and brand partners, and ensuring the use of relevant tags and mentions to support visibility and consistency. This is a part-time, hourly position, with an expected schedule of 15-20 hours/week, including weekends and holidays as needed. Additional hours may be required during the busy holiday retail season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer comments, direct messages and mentions across all social platforms in a timely manner and in the Kizik brand voice. Priority platforms include Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Engage with content from influencers and partners to build community and improve brand visibility.
  • Ensure all posts, replies, and engagements use relevant brand hashtags, mentions, and tags, while maintaining consistency in tone, grammar, and brand messaging.
  • Address basic inquiries regarding products, restocks, events, and more, escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams as needed.
  • Partner with the social team on content creation and social page management as needed, providing ideas and creating assets that ensure alignment with audience interests and trends.

Skills:

  • Excellent written communication with attention to tone and detail.
  • Knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
  • Familiarity with brand engagement best practices, including tagging and mentions.
  • Customer service or community management experience is a plus.
  • Social content creation experience is a plus.

Agent Expectations:

  • Response Time KPI: A key performance indicator (KPI) for this role is maintaining a 1-hour response time during scheduled working hours. Prompt engagement is essential for customer satisfaction and brand presence.
  • Kizik-Focused Work Policy: While clocked in, employees must focus solely on Kizik-related tasks. Personal projects, freelance work, or unrelated business activity is prohibited during paid work hours.
  • Mandatory In-Person Participation: On occasion, in-person attendance will be required for select events, content creation sessions, or team activities. These instances will be communicated in advance, and attendance is considered a required part of the role.
  • Expected Weekly Schedule: We can accommodate a different schedule depending on availability, but once the schedule is confirmed, the employee will be expected to adhere to the same schedule each week.
  • 20 hr work week | Monday- Tuesday, Fri- Sunday
  • Week Days- 2-4 PM
  • Weekends Fri-Sun - 1-5 PM
  • Thursday- off
