Job Description
We’re looking for a versatile and dependable freelance content creator to support our day-to-day marketing efforts. This role includes graphic design, short-form video editing, and organic social media copywriting, along with occasional onsite content capture. You’ll also assist with updates to print collateral such as brochures and flyers. All work will follow direction from the Marketing Director, with a focus on fast, high-quality execution.
Location: Remote + Occasional Onsite (Peabody, MA area)
Start Date: Immediate
Commitment: Part-time / Project-Based
Reports to: Marketing Director
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a creative role (freelance, agency, or in-house)
- Proficient in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred)
- Experienced in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
- Comfortable writing short-form, brand-aligned social captions
- Understanding of print formatting, sizing, and resolution standards
- Ability to film onsite in Peabody, MA as needed
- Strong organization and time management skills
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
- Design branded visuals for organic social media, email headers, print materials, and in-office signage
- Update and maintain brochures, flyers, postcards, and other print collateral as needed
- Prepare assets for web and print, ensuring correct formatting and consistency
- Follow brand guidelines and execute creative direction provided by the Marketing Director
Video Production & Editing
- Capture short-form video content onsite as needed (behind-the-scenes, Reels, Stories)
- Edit engaging videos optimized for Instagram and Facebook
- Add music, captions, transitions, and brand overlays
- Export and deliver platform-ready formats
Organic Social Media Copywriting
- Write captions for Instagram and Facebook posts that reflect brand tone and campaign themes
- Support content calendar planning with creative ideas and timely copy
- Edit and proof content for clarity and alignment
Collaboration
- Execute projects based on clear creative direction
- Manage and organize deliverables for efficient access and use
- Communicate progress and availability proactively
Nice to Have
- Experience in beauty, wellness, or medspa marketing
- Motion graphics capabilities (for Reels, Stories, or promotional videos)
- Familiarity with seasonal promotional content planning
