Job Description

Walker & Company Brands, the maker of Bevel, is seeking a Part-Time Graphic Designer. This role is essential for creating distinctive, creative assets that enhance the BEVEL brand. Reporting to the Creative Director, the designer will develop visual assets to strengthen brand identity and engage audiences across various platforms. The position primarily supports Marketing but also collaborates with eCommerce and Retail teams as needed. This is a part-time, hybrid role based primarily in Atlanta, with opportunities for remote work. Candidates from New York and California will also be considered.

The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual who can contribute new ideas and styles across a range of creative requests, ensuring the Bevel brand stays fresh and impactful. A strong design background, along with a passion for men’s grooming and culture, is desired.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Strong experience with Figma for digital design and prototyping
• Ability to illustrate, sketch, and create informative graphics
• Experience designing for e-commerce, digital marketing, and social media
• A strong eye for layout, typography, and color, with an understanding of brand consistency across visual materials
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Strong multitasking skills; ability to manage details while not losing sight of the big picture
• Exceptional communication skills and professionalism in all interactions
• Enthusiasm for learning, openness to feedback, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in a CPG or start-up environment is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Illustration: Create high-quality sketches, illustrations, and posters for marketing and educational purposes.
• Advertising & Social Media: Design advertisements, visual layouts, and digital assets for paid and organic social campaigns.
• Product Education: Develop step-by-step instructional guides and manuals for effective product usage.
• Brand Identity: Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to maintain Bevel’s visual identity and ensure consistency in branding.
• Creative Execution: Support the development of e-commerce visuals, campaign assets, and website design elements.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field, or currently pursuing one (3rd- or 4th-year students are encouraged to apply)
• Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, technical skills, and attention to detail

Compensation and Employment Details

This is an in-house, part-time, W-2 position expected to work between 10 to 29 hours per week. The hourly rate ranges from $20 to $28 per hour, with higher rates considered based on location and experience. This is a temp-to-hire role, with strong performance potentially leading to full-time employment in the future, subject to business needs.
