Contract: Part-time, Seasonal

Job Description

The Baltimore Orioles seek a part-time, seasonal Jr. Graphic Designer to assist the Graphic Design team in the development and execution of social media, email, broadcast, and in-venue graphics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in graphic design, visual arts, advertising, or related field
  • One to three years’ experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Motion design capabilities using Adobe After Effects is a plus
  • Demonstrates design principles and creative trends with an online creative portfolio
  • Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including some nights and weekends, when needed
  • Understanding of baseball and Orioles team history is a plus

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design promotional marketing drops for television broadcast and video boards in the ballpark
  • Create email graphics for marketing and advertising campaigns and customer journeys
  • Assist Graphic Designers and Art Director in creation of graphics packages from brand standards
  • Update in-game video board elements, including chyron messaging, player headshots, player stats and game notes
  • Help build campaign templates and one-off requests for social media use

Additional Information

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $16/hour. Benefits include concession and merchandise discounts, free parking, and limited complimentary baseball tickets to home games. A 401(k) plan with discretionary employer match is available after one year of service and 1,000 hours of service.
