Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Freelance Social Media Manager to shape the digital voice of our high-end dermatology practice in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to work with a respected skincare team, led by a world-renowned founder and industry-leading physicians, at a clinic that combines cutting-edge science with luxury care.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and manage our social media content calendar
• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Create and schedule 2-3 posts per week across platforms (Instagram is primary)
• Film content in person 1 day per week at our Manhattan office
• Handle light community management (responding to comments, DMs, and fostering engagement)
• Track and report key analytics monthly to inform content strategy
• Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand voice

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of social media management experience, preferably in beauty, health, luxury, or lifestyle industries
• Strong creative instincts and an eye for clean, on-brand visuals
• Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
• Proactive, organized, and professional with a collaborative spirit
• Familiarity with trends, reels, and performance-driven content
• Resides within reasonable proximity to NYC and able to visit the office one day per week

Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing and graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and their application in social media marketing
• Excellent research skills to stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences
• Proven experience in content creation that resonates with target audiences
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail in all written communications
• Knowledge of advertising strategies across various social media platforms
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for storytelling

Compensation

Compensation for this role is $2,000 per month.
