Job Description
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Content Manager to join our team, focusing on producing engaging video and photo content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This role is perfect for someone with some experience who loves creating dynamic social media content and is eager to learn about the private jet and luxury travel industry. The position requires being based in Los Angeles or the Bay Area, as some content creation will happen in person.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, edit, and publish video and photo content tailored for TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms
- Write engaging, creative scripts for short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, etc.) that align with our brand voice and capture attention quickly
- Attend local in-person shoots involving private jets and luxury settings
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop fresh content ideas and campaigns
- Manage social media calendars and post schedules
- Monitor content performance and engagement, suggesting improvements to increase reach and impact
- Stay up to date with social media trends and platform best practices
- Direct others during shoots
Requirements
- Based in Los Angeles or the Bay Area (in-person work required)
- Proven portfolio showcasing social media content creation, especially video (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories)
- Strong skills in filming, editing, and writing engaging short-form scripts
- Creativity and ability to write viral, scroll-stopping video concepts and captions
- Understanding of social media trends, hooks, storytelling, and audience engagement
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Interest or willingness to learn about private jets and luxury travel is a plus
- Experience with social media management or editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, CapCut) is a bonus
