Position Type: Freelance / Part-Time

Compensation: $200 flat weekly rate (based on experience and deliverables)

Location: Hybrid (remote design work + occasional on-site content capture in-studio)

About Us: Real Hot Yoga Montvale is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to help bring our brand to life through visually compelling digital content. This role involves creating three engaging Instagram posts or reels per week alongside cohesive cover graphics, captions, and promotional flyers. Additionally, you will be responsible for capturing photos and videos in the studio to generate fresh, authentic content for our community.

Role Overview: We seek a designer who understands visual storytelling and can translate weekly promotions, events, and studio culture into clean, branded, and engaging content.

Requirements

Weekly Deliverables Include:

• 3 Instagram posts or reels (can be a combination based on weekly needs)
• Branded cover image for each post or reel
• Engaging captions reflective of our warm, motivating, real, and concise tone
• 3 promotional flyers (digital and print-friendly) aligned with social content

Our Brand Voice:

• Clean, minimal design with pops of bold color
• Tone: Empowering, positive, and occasionally playful
• Clear, direct messaging—no fluff
• Visuals should reflect energy, movement, and warmth

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver 3 branded social media assets weekly, including:
• A scroll-stopping cover image
• A well-written, on-brand caption
• A coordinating flyer (sized for Stories, Feed, and/or print)
• Occasionally visit the studio to capture content (photos and videos) of events, classes, or behind-the-scenes moments
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative deliverables
• Communicate regularly with studio leadership to align on priorities and weekly messaging
• Meet weekly deadlines with minimal oversight
• Stay up-to-date on Instagram trends to keep content fresh and relevant

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with social media content design (especially Instagram)
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
• Understanding of current Instagram trends and algorithm-friendly content
• Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging captions
• Comfortable taking photos and videos in a studio environment (basic photography/videography skills required)
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• A passion for yoga, wellness, and community is a plus!

Additional Information

Compensation: This role is compensated at a flat weekly rate of $200, payable weekly or monthly based on preference.
