Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in graphic design and a passion for creating visually compelling content across various platforms. This role requires a blend of artistic vision and technical skills, enabling the designer to contribute to projects ranging from branding and marketing materials to digital art and web design. The Freelance Designer will work closely with clients and team members to deliver high-quality designs that meet project objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in branding, UI design, motion graphics, and print advertising.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign) is essential.
• Familiarity with web design principles including HTML/CSS is preferred.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress is a plus.
• Strong understanding of color management, typography, layout design, and typesetting.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients or team members.
• Knowledge of photography and video editing is advantageous but not required.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and objectives.
• Develop creative concepts for branding, logo design, and marketing materials.
• Create engaging motion graphics and video content using Adobe After Effects.
• Design user interfaces (UI) for websites and applications, ensuring an optimal user experience.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for various design projects, including print advertising and digital media.
• Produce high-quality illustrations and digital art that align with client branding.
• Manage color theory and typography effectively in all design outputs.
• Execute layout design for presentations, ensuring clarity and visual appeal.
• Conduct photo manipulation and editing to enhance visual content.
• Stay updated on design trends and tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CorelDRAW.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
