Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Flexible hours
• Client Timezone: EST (New York)

Responsibilities:

• Create consistent, high-quality social media content that incorporates originality alongside AI tools like ChatGPT
• Manage and maintain posting schedules through Metricool platform
• Develop and flesh out interesting topics for social media engagement
• Perform end-to-end social media marketing including content creation, promotion, and marketing campaigns
• Engage with community members and respond to messages and inquiries promptly
• Conduct outreach to different groups and interact with them to highlight the organization’s brand
• Work proactively and independently, planning ahead for content needs across multiple days
• Provide regular reporting on tasks completed and time spent on various activities

Scopes:

• Primary focus on one main social media channel with additional independent content support
• Work will be conducted remotely with 8-12 hour time difference from client
• Direct communication and management relationship with client
• Month-to-month engagement with 7-day replacement guarantee
• Ongoing role with potential for annual performance-based increases

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation (portfolio required)
• Proficiency with social media management tools, particularly Metricool
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision across different time zones
• Strong writing and communication skills with ability to create original content
• Experience with community engagement and outreach strategies
• Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate needs and work ahead
• Understanding of political or organizational social media best practices
