Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 6 PM - 10 PM, 20 hours a week
  • Florida, EST

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and highly motivated Social Media Manager to oversee our presence on platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. This role involves content creation, posting, engagement, and light video editing to ensure our brand remains dynamic, relevant, and engaging across key social channels. The ideal candidate is up to date with current social trends, has a strong sense of branding and storytelling, and is confident in editing short-form videos for high engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Plan, create, and post engaging content (images, captions, videos, reels/stories).
  • Capture or source content when necessary, or repurpose existing assets for multiple platforms.
  • Conduct light video editing for TikTok and Instagram Reels using mobile or desktop editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot).
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply them to daily operations.
  • Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies based on engagement data and audience insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing, branding, or product teams to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule and uphold brand voice and aesthetics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, businesses, or influencers.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram algorithms and content formats.
  • Basic to intermediate video editing skills; able to create short, punchy, on-brand videos.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling and trends.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple content calendars.
  • Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Hootsuite) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Canva or other design tools is an advantage.
