Job Description

This creative part-time role combines social media strategy with graphic design to elevate an educational consulting brand that’s making real impact in schools. You’ll develop engaging content that resonates with educators while supporting a major book launch and business expansion. This position offers creative freedom to develop compelling visual and written content while contributing to work that’s transforming educational practices and empowering young people across North America.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, educational social media content across multiple platforms that resonates with educators and administrators
• Design compelling graphics and visual content using tools like Canva for social media and presentations
• Develop professional presentation slides and visual materials for keynotes and educational workshops
• Manage social media strategy and content calendar to maximize reach and engagement
• Create viral and trending content appropriate for professional educational audiences
• Perform basic video editing for short reels and social media content
• Support major book launch marketing efforts through targeted social media campaigns
• Monitor social media trends and adapt content strategy for maximum impact in the education sector

Requirements

• Strong background in social media marketing with proven content creation skills
• Proficiency in graphic design tools, particularly Canva, with portfolio of previous work
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and ability to create trending, engaging content
• Basic video editing skills for social media content creation
• Creative mindset with ability to translate educational concepts into compelling visual content
• Understanding of marketing principles and audience engagement strategies
• Experience working with professional services, educational content, or thought leadership preferred
• Ability to work independently while maintaining brand consistency and voice
