I’m building a lifestyle content brand that focuses on routines, self-care, and intentional living. I want to create simple, aesthetic, and engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Role Overview:
I’m looking for a reliable and creative video editor to join me on a monthly retainer. You’ll help transform raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping short-form videos that align with modern lifestyle/beauty content trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit 12–16 short-form videos per month (30–60 seconds each)
  • Add captions/subtitles in a clean, aesthetic style
  • Use trending sounds, smooth cuts, and minimal effects where appropriate
  • Repurpose raw clips into engaging content that feels authentic and on-brand
  • Deliver edits within 2–3 days of receiving raw footage
  • Collaborate on refining style and experimenting with formats that perform well on TikTok/Reels/Shorts

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with TikTok/Reels/Shorts editing
  • Knowledge of captions, pacing, and storytelling for social media
  • Access to editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
  • Attention to detail and ability to match a lifestyle/aesthetic brand style
  • Reliability and consistency

Compensation:

  • $80 USD per month retainer
  • Covers up to 16 short-form videos per month
  • Opportunity to grow role and rate as the channel expands
