Job Description

A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical, and computing industry, is looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer who can convert written or spoken ideas into images, layouts, and other designs. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of marketing campaigns in the retail sector and be able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading creative teams and designing collaboratively is preferred, along with strong customer service skills in the corporate sector. A bachelor’s degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing, or related discipline
• Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design, and multimedia presentation
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
• 4+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
• Experience working with WordPress templates
• Adaptive design eye and skill
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
• Work simultaneously on 5+ projects based on current client workload
• Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media, including infographics
• Put together disparate elements of a design created by another professional
• Consult with clients’ marketing, copywriting, and sales teams to create cohesive designs
• Expert with graphic design
• Expert with PowerPoint

Additional Information

This is a freelance position. Job Type: Part-time. Pay: From $45.00 per hour.

Education: Bachelor’s (Preferred).

Experience: Microsoft PowerPoint: 5 years (Preferred); Graphic design: 5 years (Preferred); CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript: 5 years (Preferred); working with WordPress templates: 5 years (Preferred).

Ability to Commute: New York, NY 10040 (Required). Work Location: In person.
